For this problem you would be solving for the area of 3/4 of a circle with the radius being 24ft. So area of a circle is a= PI R squared so plug in 3.14(24)squared order of operations says to square first so 24 squared is 576. Then PI or 3.14 times 576 equals 1808.64
Now because it is only 3/4 of a circle you wil multiply the answer by 3/4 which is 1,356.48 ft. So the Cow has 1,356.48 Ft of grazing area.

The original height of the plant is 20 inches, and each week for 4 weeks its height increases by 2h inches, so at the end of 4 weeks its height would be:
20 + 4(2h) = 20 + 8h
Now for the next two weeks the plant grows in height by h inches each week, so we need to add a further 2h inches to the equation. Thus the expression that shows the height of the plant after 6 weeks is:
20 + 8h + 2h = 20 + 10h, therefor A is the correct answer

Solve for j.<br>-13j - 20 = -8j + 20
aleksley [76]

Answer:

j = -8

Step-by-step explanation:

-13j - 20 = -8j + 20

Add 13 j to each side

-13j+13j - 20 = -8j+13j + 20

-20 = 5j+20

subtract 20 from each side

-20-20 = 5j +20-20

-40 = 5j

Divide by 5

-40/5 = =5j/5

-8 =j

A circular disc has circumference 250 cm.<br> Calculate the radius of the disc.
nasty-shy [4]

\textit{circumference of a circle}\\\\ C=2\pi r ~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ C=250 \end{cases}\implies 250=2\pi r\implies \cfrac{250}{2\pi }=r\implies \stackrel{cm}{39.79}\approx r

What is the mass of hydrogen atoms that is measured at 54 u? the relationship between atomic mass units (u) and grams (g) is 1 u
xxMikexx [17]

The mass of hydrogen atoms that measures 54 u is 89.64 x 10^-24

Analysis:

If 1 u = 1.66 x 10^-24, then 54 u = 54 x 1.66 x 10^-24 = 89.64 x 10^-24
