1) "What are your strengths in public speaking?"

Some of my strengths in public speaking will be 'Goal-setting', I know my purpose and I do all I can to reach it in calm ways. I also know how to keep the crowd connected, this is a very important strength/skill to have because nobody wants to hear a presenter who cant help make the crowd feel connected.

2) "What areas would you like to improve?"

I would like to improve with time management, sometimes the topic you are presenting can be very personal and you want the audience to know everything you know about it- this causes an unfocused crowd and a "dragged" presentation.

 3) "Do you have any fears or anxieties when it comes to presenting in front of an audience?"

As much as I would like to say that I don't have any fears when it comes to presenting in front of people, I cant. Presenting in front of people-I admit, can be nerve wracking but, as the minutes pass you'll start to feel calm. The fears that come with public speaking are temporary.

17. From the details in this passage, what can you conclude about the captain and
Anna [14]

The correct answer is C. They place great importance on property ownership

Explanation:

The purpose of the captain and the company was to buy or own the island; this idea is expressed in "its mission to purchase from the natives a base from which to conduct company trade." This shows the captain and its people believed owning the island was important, as well as, using the resources and location of this for trade.

According to this, it can be concluded the captain and the company place great importance on property ownership. Moreover, this belief contrasts the ones of the natives in the excerpt because they accept that the company and the captain establish on the island but do not understand the company is now the owner of the island.

pochemuha

Answer:

El 7% de dicho número de muertes es 273.000.

Explanation:

Dado que han habido 3,9 millones de muertes en 2017, para determinar la cifra que representa el 7% de dicho número se debe realizar el siguiente cálculo matemático:

(3.900.000 x 7) / 100 = X

27.300.000 / 100 = X

273.000 = X

Por lo tanto, el 7% de dicho número de muertes es 273.000.
