I know it seems hard at first but try this rule for subtraction
For subtraction of integers change the subtraction sign to positive and change the second number sign to the opposite and follow rule of addition
So it becomes
-23 +(+39) now use
Rule for addition of different signs is to subtract and use sign of larger number in answer
It just takes practice don't give up!

The manufacturer of a weight-training bench spends $15 to build each bench and sells them for $32. The manufacturer also has fix
nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

C(x) = 15x + 25,500....cost function

R(x) = 32x .....revenue function

break even point (when they are equal)....so set them equal and solve for x

15x + 25,500 = 32x

25,500 = 32x - 15x

25,500 = 17x

25,500 / 17 = x

1500 = x.......so the break even point is when 1500 benches are sold

15x + 25,500 =                                   32x =

15(1500) + 25,500                              32(1500) =

22,500 + 25,500                                48,000

48,000

and after selling 1500 benches, they will both equal $48,000

you have $18 to buy peppers. peppers cost $1.50 each. write and solve an inequality that represents the number of peppers you ca
Nezavi [6.7K]

At most 12 peppers can be bought with $18

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Total amount for peppers = $18

Cost per pepper = $1.50

Let p be the number of peppers that can be bought from $18 at $1.50 per pepper

So,

1.50p\leq 18

Dividing both sides by 1.50

\frac{1.50p}{1.50}\leq \frac{18}{1.50}\\p\leq 12

Hence,

At most 12 peppers can be bought with $18
