Do you agree that winning or losing a competitive sport teaches us about life

Answer: Yes.

Explanation:

This is all my personal opinion.

Winning shows reward when putting effort. With all the trials and tribulences of a competitive sport, winning is the cherry on top. Like life, everyone goes through challenges, and push through it to have their ups. And then downs. Losing is inevitable. In a competitive sport, you're bound to lose a match. Losing teaches us humility, knowing when you've been beat, and always coming back up to go for a win again.

Hope I didn't go that deep. Good day!

When Emma was little, she loved to colour but now she’s in high school and doesn’t have much free time. Today her swim practice was canceled, so she decided to grab her coloured pencils and her little sisters colouring book and got to work, she sat down and began to fill in the blank shapes with beautiful pastels, after a while she decided to go colour in the fresh air, she felt so relaxed sitting outside. After a while she heard her mum calling her for dinner, she sat a little longer before she went inside because she loved spending her day doing something so peaceful.

How does Longfellow include elements of the story of Sampson in "The Warning"?
anyanavicka [17]

The correct answer is: He uses unjust treatment of Sampson by the Philistines to draw attention to the plight of prisoners throughout history.

The author describes both Sampson's and the slave's plights in the story - the slave being discussed in the first two paragraphs, and Sampson being introduced at the last one. Moreover, both these two characters' conditions are presented in a similar manner: They are poor, blind and have been shorn of their strenghts - with Sampson being additionally eager to break his bonds.

The slave in the story is a poetic description of the suffering of every prisoner that has ever existed, and Sampson is included in this characterization as to highlight the prisoner's desire to escape.
