Answer:

B. “Empathy makes you more aware of other people’s suffering, but it’s not clear it actually motivates you to take moral action or prevents you from taking immoral action.” (Paragraph 4)

D. “It has become a way to experience delicious moral emotions without confronting the weaknesses in our nature that prevent us from actually acting upon them.” (Paragraph 10)

Explanation:

In Part A, we learn that empathy encourages caring for others, but does not necessarily drive people to act on these impulses. This is supported by these two passages. In the first one, we learn that empathy makes you aware of suffering, but does not necessarily lead you to act morally. In the second one, we learn that empathy allows you to experience moral emotions without forcing you to act morally. Both excerpts support the idea expressed in Part A.

Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

I don't really know, sorry, but I can give you my best guess. When people blow in a dogs face its fast sharp air and it's only in one place. When a dog goes and sticks his head out a window it's nice air from all around and doesn't hurt. And when people blow in a dogs face it may come as a surprise and dogs don't exactly like surprises that don't involve getting a toy or some food.
