Which comparison between events in the passage would best support a claim that a significant theme of the passage is fulfillment
Mama L [17]

Answer:

B

Theodora´s waiting for the publisher´s response and her time in the woods after her manuscript has been accepted.

Explanation:

I know from personal experience that the feelings that come along when a manuscript is finished and accepted, can rightly be described as pure fulfillment. In A the manuscript is finished but she cannot feel really fulfilled because the response of the publisher is needed to do so.

Family problems  (C & D) can´t be seen in the light of fullfillment.

What does "Insanity is relative. It depends on who has who locked in what cage." mean?
bezimeni [28]
Are there specific answer choices? This could be interpreted different ways. The way I see it is, insanity gives the feeling of being locked in a cage. But, it depends and varies on what kind of "cage", meaning what is it that traps this person, making them insane. What has driven them to that point, what makes them feel trapped. That is their cage. Many have different cages. Maybe stress, depression, or something specific going on in their lives. As far as "who has who locked" means that each situation differs by what place that person holds. Maybe they may be the one insane and locked in their cage, or they may be the one locking someone in a cage. Two different situations created by switching roles. Sorry, I'm probably not much help but this could mean many different things depending on your grade level and what exactly is needing to be understood, as well as how deep. I hope you find your answer ^^

mote1985 [20]

Answer:

Looking glass self concept

Explanation:

According to Cooley, individuals develop their concept of self by observing how they are perceived by others. This is known as the Looking glass self concept. Maribeth was encauraged by her husbands words, and it was the way he perceived her which ultimately gave her confidence to go over her presentation even though at first she was nervous. Individuals use the judgments they receive from others to measure their own worth, values, and behavior
