Step-by-step explanation:

1) 1 \: tsp. = 5ml

= > \frac{1}{4} \: tsp. = \frac{5}{4} ml = 1.25ml

2)1 \: oz. = 30gm

= > \frac{1}{2} oz. = \frac{30}{2} = 15gm

So,

1 \frac{1}{2} \: oz. = 1oz. + \frac{1}{2} oz.

= > 30gm + 15gm = 45gm

3)250f = 120c

= > 1f = \frac{120}{250} c

= > 125f = \frac{120}{250} \times 125 = 60c

4)\frac{1}{4} c = 60ml

= > 1c = (60 \times 4)ml

= > \frac{1}{3} ml = \frac{60 \times 4}{3} = 80ml

5) \frac{1}{4} in. = 5mm

= > 1in. = (5 \times 4)mm

= > \frac{3}{4} in. = \frac{5 \times 4 \times 3}{4} = 15mm

Well since it gives you 2 gas stations it wants you to compare prices

Als gas station will be A
At-one will be B

since station A has $3.259/ gallon I assume
and B has $3.199/ gallon

just subtract them

so 3.259 -3.199 = 0.06

gas is less at station B noticeably costs less so thats your first answer

for the next one if you bought gallon of gas at the cheaper station you'd be saving $0.06/gallon since we got the difference from subtracting them.

Rewrite each statement using the appropriate mathematical language 1. There exists a number b belonging to the set B 2. Even num
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

1. b ∈ B 2. ∀ a ∈ N; 2a ∈ Z 3. N ⊂ Z ⊂ Q ⊂ R 4. J ≤ J⁻¹ : J ∈ Z⁻

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let b be the number and B be the set, so mathematically, it is written as

b ∈ B.

2. Let  a be an element of natural number N and 2a be an even number. Since 2a is in the set of integers Z, we write

∀ a ∈ N; 2a ∈ Z

3. Let N represent the set of natural numbers, Z represent the set of integers, Q represent the set of rational numbers, and R represent the set of rational numbers.

Since each set is a subset of the latter set, we write

N ⊂ Z ⊂ Q ⊂ R .

4. Let J be the negative integer which is an element if negative integers. Let the set of negative integers be represented by Z⁻. Since J is less than or equal to its inverse, we write

J ≤ J⁻¹ : J ∈ Z⁻

liberstina [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

F(x)=-x+5

So

f(-4)= -(-4)+5

f(-4)= 4+5

f(-4)= 8

Only we have to substitute value of x then after simplification we will get answer..Hope this will help
