How did Claire’s digestion reaction rates tell you that the problem was in her small intestine, and not her stomach?

Biology

Answer:

Absorption of the nutrients will not happen.

Explanation:

Claire’s digestion reaction rates tell you that the problem was in her small intestine, and not her stomach because the intestine is responsible for the absorption of most of the nutrients produced from eating and drinking of food substances. If the absorption of the nutrients will not happen by the intestine, the whole homeostasis or equilibrium of the body disturbs and no growth of the cell  occurs.

What is the difference between physical and behavioral adaptations? Give an example of each in your explanation.
luda_lava [24]

Explanation:

If an animal changes the way it acts to stay alive, this is called a behavioral adaptation. For example, some geese fly south in the fall. This behavior allows them to stay warm and find food during winter. Changes in an animal’s body are called physical adaptations. A chameleon can change color to hide from its enemies

Bumek [7]

Answer;

-The above statement is True.

ATP is an unstable, high-energy molecule that provides body cells with a form of energy that is immediately usable.

Explanation;

-ATP is an unstable molecule which hydrolyzes to ADP and inorganic phosphate when it is in equilibrium with water. The high energy of this molecule comes from the two high-energy phosphate bonds. The bonds between phosphate molecules are called phosphoanhydride bonds.

-It only stores small amounts of energy by adding phosphate groups to the ADP molecules and then produces ATP. It can easily release and store the energy by breaking and re-forming the bonds between phosphate groups which is the basic energy source for cells.
