You should look for ways to simplify here before attempting to multiply.

sqrt(45) times sqrt(96) can be rewritten in terms of perfect squares and other factors:

45 = 5 * 9 (9 is a perfect square)

96 = 16 * 6 (16 is a perfect square)

Then sqrt45) times sqrt(96) = sqrt(9)*sqrt(5)*sqrt(6)*sqrt(16)
                                             =      3    * sqrt(5) * sqrt(6) * 4
                                               =      12sqrt(30)        (answer)

30 can be factored, but none of the factors of 30 are perfect squares.

What is the domain of the set of ordered pairs?
lilavasa [31]

Answer:

<h2>D. {-4, 1, 0, 2, 7}</h2>

Step-, by-step explanation:

For any order pairs (x, y), x is an element of a Domain and y is an element of a Range.

For {(7, -3); (-4, 2); (-1, 0); (2, -4); (0, -6)}

the set {7; -4, -1, 2, 0} is a Domain.

Calculate the distance between points
Elena L [17]

The distance would be, ((x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2)^0.5

x1=-7,y1=9, x2=-4,y2=2

hence distance = sqrt(9+49) = sqrt (58) = 7.615773106
