I NEED HELP ASAP!!!Which statement about the Pullman strike is true? The Pullman strike ended quickly because of negotiations by
katrin2010 [14]

Your answer would be D). The Pullman Company lost more money fighting the strike than it would have paid out by giving in to workers.

___________________________________________________

The Pullman strike was a strike against the Pullman company. The Pullman Company was a railroad company during the time period. The reason why the workers went on strike is because the Pullman company decided to cut off 25% of the workers income and kept the prices of the workers rents the same, which means that the workers didn't have enough money to help themselves. During the strike, people destroyed homes, factories, and stop working. Because of the strike, the company had to sell all of the residential homes for the workers and had property damages of 80 million dollars. If the Pullman Company just payed their workers, they wouldn't have lost so much money. They lost more money because of property damages, and could've had more money if they payed their workers.

What does the Berlin and Germany look like during the cold war? 1)Split in half 2)Taken over by the UUSR 3)Taken over by the US
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer:

1)Split in half

Explanation:

After the end of the world war II, West Berlin was occupied by the Allies: the United States, Britain and France, while East Berlin was occupied by the Soviet Union.

This situation lasted for almost 5 years, and there were many tensions. The height of the tension was the Berlin blockaed incident, when the Soviet Union tried to blockade supplies to West Berlin. The Soviet Union was able to do so because it controlled all the territory that surrounded the Soviet Union, including East Berlin itself.

The allies had to supply West Berlin by air, in what is known as the Berlin Airflit. This was a success and kept West Berlin under allied control.

Berlin would remain split in half until 1989.
