Answer:

Although used earlier by French writers, the term Industrial Revolution was first popularized by the English economic historian Arnold Toynbee (1852–83) to describe Britain's economic development from 1760 to 1840. Since Toynbee's time the term has been more broadly applied.

Why might someone not like Capitalism?
NemiM [27]

Answer:

Capitalism concentrates all of its efforts on profiting those who have the means to invest while ignoring those who don’t and also ignoring externalities. It is content to pollute and destroy our planet and falsely justifies it all in the name of a questionable greater good. No amount of wealth will make up for a destroyed ecosystem. It, all too often, treats workers as expendable - enslaving them through economic necessity instead of chains - instead of as fellow human beings.

It divides people into those who have only their labor and wits (and those of others) with which to acquire the necessities of life and those who can sit back and do nothing productive, living and getting rich, instead, off of rent - collecting money for the use of something that they did not create. This is especially true of “earning” interest on money that never existed until the banker creates the loan
