I would choose to be deaf for one month.

Three activity’s i feel would trouble me the most would be obviously trying to have a conversation with someone, when walking down the streets hearing someone coming or something like a car, and watching television.

My mother would probably be the person to help me during that month.

I feel like the color of my aura would be like a aquarium green.

In which sentence is the underlined verb used correctly in the subjunctive mood?
icang [17]

The sentence in which the underlined verb is used correctly in the subjunctive mood is the one that reads "if I were you, I would try out for the lead in the school play".

In the English language, the subjunctive mood is used to talk about conditional or imaginary situations. In this case, it has been used to explore a condition which is contrary to fact, that is, the person speaking is not the addressee. That is why the sentence reads "if i were you".  It is a piece of advise.

Explain how the use of specific poetic devices makes “Counting Small-boned Bodies” satirical.
marishachu [46]
<span>"Counting Small-Boned Bodies" is a short poem of ten lines and, as its title suggests, plays upon official body counts of dead Vietnamese soldiers. The poem's first line, "Let's count the bodies over again," is followed by three tercets, each of which begins with the same line: "If we could only make the bodies smaller." That condition granted, Bly postulates three successive images: a plain of skulls in the moonlight, the bodies "in front of us on a desk," and a body fit into a finger ring which would be, in the poem's last words, "a keepsake forever." One notes in this that Bly uses imagery not unlike that of the pre-Vietnam poems, especially in the image of the moonlit plain.</span>
