Germline mutations, Chromosomal alterations and Point mutations.

Mutations in genes is responsible for causing cancer because it accelerate rate of cell division or inhibiting normal controls. Germline mutations, Chromosomal and Point mutations are the three types of mutations which causes cancer cells to develop. Germline mutations causes inherited cancer because the mutations occur in sex gametes means cancer disease inherited from parents to offspring while Chromosomal and Point mutations occur in the body not in the sex cells.
