Humans are in bondage to ignorance and illusion, but are able to escape. Purpose is to gain release from rebirth, or at least a
Schach [20]

Answer:

The above is demonstrated in Hinduism

Explanation:

Release from Rebirth here means release from reincarnation in Hinduism which is the occurrence whereby a soul occupies another body to return to biological life after a previous biological death. Hinduists believe this is a bondage or punishment for a life not well lived. And so for a soul to move on after death without returning by reincarnation then this soul has lived well and moves on to be rewarded. Freedom from reincarnation(Samsara) in Hinduism is called Moksha which is the liberation from the continuous cycle of death and rebirth. The Ultimate goal in Hinduism is to attain Moksha.

Question 6(Multiple Choice Worth 3 points)
madreJ [45]

Answer:

a terrible and bloody Civil War freed enslaved Americans. The Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution (1868) granted African Americans the rights of citizenship. However, this did not always translate into the ability to vote. Black voters were systematically turned away from state polling places. To combat this problem, Congress passed the Fifteenth Amendment in 1870. It says:

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

Yet states still found ways to circumvent the Constitution and prevent blacks from voting. Poll taxes, literacy tests, fraud and intimidation all turned African Americans away from the polls. Until the Supreme Court struck it down in 1915, many states used the "grandfather clause " to keep descendents of slaves out of elections. The clause said you could not vote unless your grandfather had voted -- an impossibility for most people whose ancestors were slaves.

This unfair treatment was debated on the street, in the Congress and in the press. A full fifty years after the Fifteenth Amendment passed, black Americans still found it difficult to vote, especially in the South." What a Colored Man Should Do to Vote", lists many of the barriers African American voters faced.

Who wrote the source that we have available about the vikings
Anna11 [10]

The source we have available about vikings comes from the Celts.

Explanation:

Celts are the settlers from Scandinavia who scattered all over the Western Europe and islands beyond it and settled those lands.

The Vikings were their neighbors in many of their settlements and there were few Celtic cultures like the ones in Denmark that were close to them and had some genetic intermingling.

This resulted in the documentation of the viking ways by the Celts from whom it has been passed down to us.

These documents include sagas like the Viking Saga and history of their kings.
