You take out the GCF. The GCF here is 14. Since 14 can go both into 14 and 28 and is the largest number than can do so. 7 isn't because 14 is larger. So take the GCF out and you have this:

14(1+2)

Parenthesis indicate multiplication just in case you didn't know. That's your final answer since there is not GCF of 1 and 2

What is the area of triangle pqr on the grid? a triangle pqr is shown on a grid. the vertex p is on ordered pair 7 and 6, vertex
horsena [70]

P(7,6), Q(1,6), R(4,2)

We have PQ parallel to the x axis. We'll call that the base,

b = 7 - 1 = 6

The altitude is then the y difference h = 6 - 2 = 4

The area is \frac 1 2 bh = \frac 1 2 (6)(4) = 12

Answer: 12 square units

In general we can use the shoelace formula for the area of any polygon given coordinates. We write the points like this:

(7,6), (1,6), (4,2)

(1,6), (4,2), (7,6)

The area is then half the absolute value of the sum of the cross products:

A = \frac 1 2 | 7(6)-6(1) + 1(2)-6(4) + 4(6)-2(7) | = \frac 1 2 |24| = 12

How to convert 11/27 into a decimal
il63 [147K]

Answer:

11 ÷ 27 = 0.407407

Step-by-step explanation:

Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer= 70.7 meters.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that Elise walks diagonally from one corner of a square plaza to another. Each side of the plaza is 50 meters.

Since we know that diagonal of a square is product of side length of square and . So we will find diagonal of our given square plaza by multiplying 50 by .

Therefore, diagonal distance across the plaza is 70.7 meters.
