What problem did socialist thinkers seek to solve?
Lostsunrise [7]
The primary problem that socialist thinkers wanted to solve was the problem associated with capitalism--primarily that it seemed like wealth was being consolidated at the top of the income class, and that the workers were not able to advance economically in society.

The Parthenon reflects the Greeks' quest for perfect harmony, balance, and mathematical proportions. In this it is the perfect a
MAXImum [283]

The correct answer is True

The Parthenon, arguably the most iconic of the ancient Doric temples of the Greeks, was built between 447 and 432 BC. Located on the Acropolis of Athens, for many architects it is one of the first buildings we analyzed when starting our studies. Designed by Ictino and Calícrates, it displays a unique repertoire of architectural elements that can be fully appreciated individually or by the role they play in the formation of a complete and magnificent whole.

Simply described, the 69.5 x 30.9 meter building is erected in a three-step stylobat, with a gable roof raised over a pillar and lintel structure formed by Doric columns - 17 on its sides and 8 on each end - which support an entablature composed of an architrave, a frieze and a cornice. On each porch, triangular pediments with sculptures represent the "Birth of Athena" in the east and the "Contest between Athena and Poseidon" in the west.

Why do questions about being a polygamist or an anarchist seem out of place?
Bess [88]

Polygamy is having more than one wife or husband at once, and anarchism is the rejection of the state or any other type of authority when organizing human societies.

Both types of behaviour are frowned upon by our society, to the point that they can be considered taboo. A taboo is an implicit (although sometimes it can be explicit, like through the enactment of a law) prohibition of something, because it is believed that the act goes against the agreed cultural or religious beliefs of a community. Establishing those kind of limits helps communities to be more organized and to have a stronger sense of "belonging." On the other hand, it can isolate those who think differently and cause the community to be closed to new ideas.
