Answer:

 x - 53

 ——————

   8

Step-by-step explanation:

STEP

1

:

           x + 3

Simplify   —————

             8

Equation at the end of step

1

:

 (x + 3)

 ——————— -  7

    8

STEP

2

:

Rewriting the whole as an Equivalent Fraction

2.1   Subtracting a whole from a fraction

Rewrite the whole as a fraction using  8  as the denominator :

        7     7 • 8

   7 =  —  =  —————

        1       8

Equivalent fraction : The fraction thus generated looks different but has the same value as the whole

Common denominator : The equivalent fraction and the other fraction involved in the calculation share the same denominator

Adding fractions that have a common denominator :

2.2       Adding up the two equivalent fractions

Add the two equivalent fractions which now have a common denominator

Combine the numerators together, put the sum or difference over the common denominator then reduce to lowest terms if possible:

(x+3) - (7 • 8)     x - 53

———————————————  =  ——————

       8              8

Which side of angle measures could be the interior angles of a triangle?
jok3333 [9.3K]

The sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180 degrees.

If you add 90 + 90 + 90 together you get 270. These can not be the angle measures of interior angles of a triangle because the sum is more then 180.

If you add 80 + 80 + 200 together you get 360. These can not be the angle measures of interior angles of a triangle because the sum is more then 180.

If you add 40 + 50 + 60 together you get 150. These can not be the angle measures of interior angles of a triangle because the sum is less then 180.

If you add 15 +30 + 135 together you get 180! This set of angle measures can the be interior angles of a triangle!

Hope this helped!
