Though the attachment will not load I would have to go with B because Spain had settled on the coastline of California and controlled Mexico Texas New Mexico Arizona and a few other southern most North American Countries while the french controlled most of Canada and territory from the Mississippi River and West also including the Great Lakes, But Britain did control all of the Eastern Coast of Present Day America so leaving B as the only answer that is somewhat reasonable.
