After the Nazis conquered territory in Europe, they forced Jewish people to work as forced labor in the labor camps. The Jews were not even given proper amount of food. On September 1, 1939 Hitler invaded Poland. France and Britain declared war on Germany two days later. This was the beginning of World War II.
