Answer:

Cuban Sugar

Explanation:

Not only Cuban sugar, but also no other products from that country can be traded in the United States. The reason is the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States on the communist government of the island of Cuba in October 1960 and which still remains.

This embargo was imposed on Cuba after the revolutionary government of Fidel Castro expropriated US citizens and companies. In 1962 the embargo was almost total. In 1992 it acquired the status of law. In 1996 the Helms-Burton law was decreed to forbid US citizens from doing business within the island or with Cuban citizens.

Subsequently, in 1999 the embargo was extended to foreign subsidiaries of US companies so that they could not trade with Cuba for more than 700 million dollars annually. In 2014, President Barack Obama and Raúl Castro agreed to improve relations between the two countries begins the beginning of the lifting of the blockade on Cuba by the United States.

Currently, this Obama-Castro agreement is highly criticized by the administration of President Donald Trump. He believes that the trade embargo must be maintained due to the interference of the Cuban government in the destabilization of several Latin American countries such as Venezuela and Nicaragua.
