You’ve already discussed how the zooplankton and sea turtle populations might have caused the size of the moon jelly population

Answer:

The algae or kelp because small fish feed off of that and a bigger fish eats the smaller fish and the food chain/web goes up from that and eventually it will get to the point in the food web were the moon jellyfish eats that animal then it starts all over again.
