Answer:

Present value = $9.7150 rounded off to $9.72

Explanation:

Using the dividend discount model, we calculate the price of the stock today. It values the stock based on the present value of the expected future dividends from the stock. To calculate the present value of the next four dividends, we will use the following formula,

Present value = D1 / (1+r)  +  D2 / (1+r)^2  +  D3 / (1+r)^3  +  D4 / (1+r)^4

Where,

  • r is the required rate of return

Present value = 3 / (1+0.14)  +  (3+0.25) / (1+0.14)^2  +

(3+0.25+0.25) / (1+0.14)^3  +  (3+0.25+0.25+0.25) / (1+0.14)^4

Present value = $9.7150 rounded off to $9.72

ch4aika [34]

Answer:

the farmer's total revenue when she uses the direct channel = 400 x $2.49 = $996

if she uses the indirect channel, her total revenue = 650 x $1.63 = $1,059.50

her total revenue will increase when selling to he supermarkets, but also her variable production costs will increase. This means that it is probable that her total contribution margin decreases even if total revenue decreases.

When driving in the city, _____ may help you avoid traffic, but they may not be as safe or they may increase your travel time be
Darya [45]
The correct answer is side streets.
If you are in a hurry, it may be better to take a different route and drive through side streets in order to avoid the traffic which is usually present in the more 'popular streets.' However, side streets have a lot of traffic control lights, which may slow down your ride even more.

Unexpectedly high inflation tends to hurt ________ most
a_sh-v [17]
Unexpectedly high inflation tends to hurt lenders the most. When lenders lend money, it is valuable ,  but the amount of money that must be returned to him/her is fixed. Over time, the value of the money keeps depreciating and finally when the borrower does return the money, the value decreases to a very small amount, which is not worth much. For example, let's say a borrower borrows money from a lender to buy a car. With time, the value of money depreciated so much that when the borrower finally returns the money, the same amount of money is not even worth buying a box a matches!

1. The payment made each period on an amortized loan is constant, and it consists of some interest and some principal.
AveGali [126]

Answer:

True

true

Explanation:

for  both of these questions the answers are true. the loan repayment is made up of the prncipal and the interest. This is due to the fact that as the amout of the loan outstanding gets to be repaid, the remaining principal balance would be decreased too and the interest that is associated will also be decreased too with time. The payment principal amount is going to be bigger while the interest would be smaller.
