Answer:

O Initially he believed in the war, but over time he questioned America's involvement.

Explanation:

Neil Sheehan's personal account of the American government's involvement in the Vietnam War is shown in the report he gave titled "Not a Dove, But No Longer a Hawk". In this article, he details his experience of covering the war and how his perception changed eventually.

During his first year in Vietnam, he was still supportive of the American troops in the Asian country. But he discovered that during his second year, the number of troops present has drastically increased and that he no longer views the war and American involvement as a necessary or positive thing. He also seems to support a lesser use of violence in Vietnam, but then also believes that the complete removal of troops would be devastating with dire consequences. The metaphorical use of the<em> "dove"</em> and <em>"hawk"</em> represents his belief, in that initially, he was like a hawk, looking for his own profit and prey, but later, he did not have the same belief anymore.

Thus, the correct answer is that he initially believed in the war but then later, began to question the involvement of the United States.

Where is the helping verb in this sentence?<br> Juanita's good driving prevented an accident.
Klio2033 [76]
"Juanitas good driving prevented an accident." I think ..... verb is "to prevent" as you say. accident could be a noun and thus an object, possibly a direct object. verb "to drive" written as "driving" is, I think, a gerund (which is a verb used as a noun). maybe "helping verb" and "gerund" are similar ? I think that "an" is an article of the noun "accident". Definite would be "The accident.". Indefinite would be "an accident". I think....

Answer:

Today's youth is unable to function without technology because of their heavy dependency on it. In today's world we meet people, order food, and even get taxis all from the tiny little thing in our pockets. We carry around a modernized camera, computer, and telephone! Imagine one day it is all gone, how would people be able to do their daily lives or routines without the help of technology? Even our doorbells and digital locks can be controlled from your smartphone! Today's youth have become dependent on technology, more specifically their laptops. Some school-age children use their laptops to attend school, complete work, and even take exams. Certain websites even help us determine if we are sick such as WebMD. Go.ogle is one of the most important sites, ranging for answers to any question such as 'What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?' No matter how you go about your day, there is always technology in your path. Using technology to function, as a society, had modernized and changed our world for the (majority) better. When you look around your house or room how many AI or tech can you count? It may be more than you think. Your TVs, headphones, speakers, phones, and even washing machines! (depending on which one you own)
