Vines climb using tendrils. Specialized plant structures respond when they "touch" something like a wall or trellis. The tendril

D. Thigmotropism. A "tropism" is a plant movement in response to an environmental stimulus, and "tropo" means "touch." Plant cells change their movements when they detect a change in pressure after having contacted something. It is not A because germination is the sprouting of seedlings. It is not B because photosynthesis is the action of plants to convert light energy into chemical energy. It is not C because phototropism refers to movement in response to a change in light ("photo" means "light").

Although the citric acid cycle itself does not use O₂, it requires a functioning electron transport chain (which uses O₂) in ord
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

It's NAD+ because if you look at the electron transport chain, NADH delivers its electron to protein 1 (which causes NADH to turn to NAD+) and eventually those electrons move through multiple proteins to finally be accepted by Oxygen. If there's isn't oxygen, NADH won't be able to deliver electrons since those electrons wont end up anywhere. Which means NADH won't be oxidized (lose electrons) to turn into NAD+. NAD+ is necessary in citric acid cycle since it is reduced to turn into NADH.
