Answer:

Everyone has wonderful hopes and dreams of their future. As a typical Virgo, I extremely desire everything be perfect, especially my future life. I want to be a successful woman in the future.

The meaning of success is quite different for everyone. For me, the first obvious thing is a good career. I hope I can run my own business and make it to be international in order to earn more money for myself and my family. As a result of being wealthy, I can obtain a higher life standard and it also makes me have the sense of personal achievement.

However, being successful is not only means to be rich. I firmly believe that liberty is vital importance of my life. Therefore, I am going to do want I want to do. I do not want to be too busy to spend time with families and friends. I need to enjoy my free time to have parties and family gatherings. Moreover, I am keen to learn different languages; I wish I can have enough time to learn new languages, which can help me to open my mind by communicating with people all over the world and to enrich my life.

Another consideration of being successful is a happy family. I deeply hope I can find my Mr. Right in the future. We will live in a big house with beautiful garden and swimming pool and filled with love. We can raise our children together and get older together. We can work hard during the day and travel around the world in vacation.

I strongly think all of these hopes are not a dream. I have the confidence to make these come true through my unremitting effort.

above it is hope it helps you

Do you think Odysseus is happier traveling and exploring or taking care of business at home? Why do you think that? Refer to the
blagie [28]
He is happier traveling and exploring. This is shown in how he takes a detour at the beginning of his journey to the Ciccones despite the fact that it was in a different direction to Ithaca and he had already been adventuring for 10 years before that. His love of exploring is also shown in how he waits for the cyclops to come home rather than just steal his stuff- he wants to spread his name around. He had to take care of the suitors at home because it was his duty as an epic hero to protect his oikos, so he saw this as more of a chore than fun.

Identify the non-finite verb forms in this sentence: 1. She was looking for her sister.
SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

Looking (#1)

Explanation:

Non-finite Verb

 • Non-finite verbs function as nouns, adjectives, or adverbs or combine with a finite verb for verb tense.
 • Non-finite verbs Include participles, Infinitives, gerunds, other verbs that don't change form when the subject changes.

Participle

 • A verbal that is used as an adjective, describes a noun or pronoun, present participles always end in -ing, past participles usually end in -ed.

Gerund

 • verb form acting as a noun - always ends in -ing.

Infinitive

 • a verb form that is used as a noun, an adjective, or an adverb and is typically preceded by the word to.

Continuation:

Word: She (Pronoun)

 • She is a pronoun. It's a noun that refers to another noun or noun phrase anaphorically, although it can't be preceded by a determiner and seldom accepts an attributive adjective. In English, examples are I, you, he, who, me, mine, and so on. It can also be used as a subjective or nominative pronoun. It is most commonly used to begin a statement. It is, however, rarely used as a noun.

Word: Was (Linking Verb)

 • The word "was" is a verb, more precisely a linking verb, since it connects the subject to the section of the sentence that offers further information about the topic. Furthermore, this form of the verb "to be" represents a state of being.

Word: Looking (Present Participle)

 • Looking is the present participle of look. A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present) or -ed, -en, -d, -t, -n, or -ne (past) and serves as an adjective, modifying a noun or pronoun. A participial phrase is made up of a participle and one or more modifiers, objects, and/or complements (s).

Word: For (Preposition)

 • When used to signify the usage of something, the place where an object or person is going, or the period of time, the word "for" is defined as a preposition.

Word: Her (Pronoun)

 • Her is a pronoun in the third person singular. Her is the subject or object of a verb or a preposition. Her is a possessive determiner as well. You refer to a lady, a girl, or a feminine animal with her.

Word: Sister (Noun)

 • This word is referring to someone's/something's female sibling. This word is a noun because a word that is a person, place, or thing is classified as this part of speech. The noun sister can be used as either a proper or common noun.
 • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 1. After looking through this sentence, we can come to one conclusion. Since looking ends in -ing, it is classified as a gerund. Therefore, the word looking is a non-finite verb.
 • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All the other words in the sentence are not considered or classified as non-finite verb as their word classifications do not match those of the description/definition given of what a non-finite verb is.

 • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer:

She was looking for her sister.

 • NOTE: Verbs with tense are finite, and verbs without tense are nonfinite.

Zolol [24]

The word that can complete the white space correctly is the word "reconciliation." In this case, we can say that option B is the correct answer.

We can say this because:

 • The blank space must be filled with a word that provides coherence and cohesion to the text.
 • Furthermore, the word must be correct and meet the grammatical requirements of the language.
 • The word must also allow a fluid and meaningful reading, allowing the reader to understand what the text is expressing.

Thus, we can state that the only word among the response options capable of meeting all these requirements is the word "reconciliation."
