PLEASE HELP 100 POINTS
AlekseyPX

Write a paragraph about each poem in the pair of poems you chose for visitors to the website to read.

In the paragraph, provide several details about the poem and several details about the illustration.

Your paragraph should then guide viewers to see how the text of the poem and the illustration work together to convey Blake's theme.

Use the notes in your Student Guide to help you write your two paragraphs.

What inference can be made about Mrs. Flowers in I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings?
emmasim [6.3K]

Answer: B. She is elegant, refined, and quite unique or special.

Explanation:

Mrs. Flowers according to Maya Angelou in the book, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, was described as a black aristocrat who could be compared to the richest white woman.

The entire process of her smile was so effortless and graceful that Maya wanted to thank her every time she did so and there was something unique and special about her such that she could appear warm on the coldest day and cool on a hot one with a sense of style that was refined and elegant.

The rhyme scheme in the poem 'Jabberwocky' alternates between stanzas what is the two stanza rhyme scheme in this passage from j
Ksivusya [100]
I believe there is a mistake in your choices, because I don't see the correct choice here. The correct answer should be ABAB ABCB.
This is because in the first stanza, the first line A (son) rhymes with the third line A (shun), and the second line B (catch) rhymes with the fourth line B (Bandersnatch) - which makes the first stanza ABAB.
In the second stanza, the first line A doesn't rhyme with anything (hand), the second line B (sought) rhymes with the fourth line B (thought), and the third line C doesn't rhyme with anything - which makes the second stanza ABCB.
