Answer:

He chose Ogodei

Explanation:

When Genghis Khan was deciding who should succeed him, he had trouble choosing between his four sons. Tolui had a strong reputation for his military skills, and was very successful as a general, but Genghis Khan chose <em><u>Ögodei,</u></em> who was more capable politically. Genghis Khan felt that Tolui would be too cautious to be an effective leader. Tolui was with his father on campaign against Xi Xia in 1227.[citation needed]

How did lincoln and douglas disagree about slavery? which of their views were facts and which were opinions?
andrew11 [14]

The way that Lincoln and Douglas view, disagreement and facts about slavery is that Lincoln views them that they don’t have the ability to accept or cope up with the moral standards which was opposite of Douglas thinks. He also views them that they are also avaricious which Douglas didn't thought of. While Douglas in the other hand, has the belief that the people’s choice and having the thought of people who are slaves can back down the movement of the system of labor.

According to her employer Mrs. Hobbs, what was Ellen's status in New York? She was a free young woman she was "given" to Mr Hobb
marta [7]

Answer:

She was a free young woman.

Explanation:

Harriet Jacob's "Incidents In The Life Of A Slave Girl" is a memoir that provides a narrative in the life of a slave woman. The book delves into the system of slavery, and how Linda( protagonist and a pseudonym for Harriet) had to endure hardships and obstacles to be united with her family amidst her fight for personal freedom and family life.

Mrs. Hobbs is the cousin of Mr. Sands, the father of Linda's children. In chapter XXVII, Mrs. Hobb's letter to Linda's grandmother revealed that Linda's daughter Ellen was <em>"given"</em> to her, to be <em>"[her] little waiting maid"</em>. She went on further to state the condition of Ellen's 'presence' in the Hobbs' house, revealing:<em> "I shall send her to school, and I hope someday she will write to you herself."</em>

This shows that Ellen was 'given' to Mrs. Hobbs but that doesn't mean she is a slave and Mrs. Hobbs liked to believe that she is rather a free young woman while still under them.
