Answer:It was Richard Nixon's idea of taxes, however, he did order that there is to be an 90 day freeze on wages and income to stop inflation. Nixon was able to stop the cold war tensions by designing a balance of power in between countries. Moreover Nixon created stagflation, and massive dollar declines in which effected the country.
