Her single-handed efforts against Tories and Indians in the Broad River frontier, as well as her covert activities as a patriot spy, have become the stuff of myth, legend, and local folklore.

The blue car approaches a curve at 45 mph. the posted speed limit is 35 mph. what should the driver do?
Darya [45]
Hey There!

How are you doing? I am currently studying for my Drivers Permit, so I have an idea about this. When you approach a curve, you should always enter it at at about 20 miles per hour, and go less as the approach the tighter section of the curve. In this case, he should slow down, but not jam the breaks, as theirs people behind him/her. so, slowing down slowly, and maintaining your car would be the answer. Anyways shouldn't be speeding but...drivers in this world :') Hope I helped, Contact me for more assistance!

Thank you,
Darian D.

When a professor is delivering a lecture and some students begin to whisper back and forth, the professor may stop the lecture,
tatuchka [14]

Answer:

negative sanction

Explanation:

Sanctions can be defined as the means of enforcing rules.

Sanctions can be positive as well as negative.

A sanction is said to be positive when rewards are given for conforming to norms. Getting a promotion at work is a positive sanction for working hard.

Negative sanctions on the other hand are punishments given to people for violating norms. Being arrested is a punishment for shoplifting. Both types of sanctions play a role in social control.

We also have formal and informal sanctions.

Formal sanctions are the official ways to recognize and enforce violation of norms. In the event a student violates her college’s code of conduct, for example, she might be expelled. When an employee speaks inappropriately to the boss, he could be fired.

The material used to plug the eye sockets in ancient egypt
alexgriva [62]
Different materials were used to plug the eye sockets. The eyeballs were often pushed into eye socket and covered with linen pads. Sometimes eyes were painted onto the linen, but eventually the Egyptians began to use stone or glass eyes.  Sometimes mummies had whole onions for eyes and occasionally received onion skins to cover the eyes, but a more common method was to use dried grapes and beeswax. hope this helps! <span>
