As the cloud shrinks in size, its central temperature __________ as a result of its __________.
Vilka [71]

Answer:

As the cloud shrinks in size, its central temperature increases, as a result of its gravitational potential energy being converted to thermal energy.

We are assuming that the mentioned cloud, is a cloud of interstellar dust (nebula), in which this definition is applicable. Since energy cannot disappear, the lost gravitational potential energy would have to transform into something else, in this case, thermal energy, or simply heat, which will increase the overall temperature of the cloud.

No. Washington state laws do not apply to Native Americans living on reservation land. This is because, like stated above, reservations have tribal sovereignty (the right to self-government,). You can picture it like a reservation is a country within the country of the United States. That little country has its own laws and customs and beliefs. Honestly...I'd argue that federal law can't overrule tribal sovereignty either, but...apparently it can.

In every economic system, entrepreneurs and managers bring together natural resources, labor, and technology to produce and distribute goods and services.
