il63 [147K]

The correct answer is D) Both the first and third answers are correct.

A regulator equipped with a conventional alternate-air-source second stage is among the most widely used and readily understood type of alternate air source, and allows the donor to give either second stage to an out-of-air diver. d) Both the first and third answers are correct.

Here we are talking about scuba diving equipment. It is the regulator that allows the diver to breathe from the oxygen tank. It is of the utmost importance because the function of this piece of equipment is precisely to regulate the pressure of the air so the diver has no problems breathing while it is diving. Let's have in mind that the air contained in the oxygen tank is at high pressure. Without the regulator, it could be difficult for the diver to breathe and could put it at risk.

Over [174]

Edward Hall said that the “distance zone” that should be shared between you and your lab partner outside the Science Laboratory is personal distance zone.  It was Edward Hall who developed the concept of ‘Proxemics”. He was the American anthropologist whose research focused about how we divide our personal distance and how it’s affected by culture. He also stated the difference between personal space and territory. Furthermore, a conclusion by him was made about the direct correlation between social standings and physical distances between people. He introduced the four main zones which serve as ‘reaction bubbles’. He said that when you enter a specific zone of a person, the person’s psychological and physical reactions will be activated.

Which of the following are actions of politically engaged citizens
never [62]
It does look like there are 3 possible answers but #2: voting in a local school board election is definitely the strongest answer. Here's why, by voting in a local election you are choosing to engage in politics. Serving on a jury is not an option so everyone has to do it whether they're engaged or not. Researching current events is good info but not active engagement and refusing to listen is the opposite of being a politically engaged citizen
