So I bought a mechanical keyboard with cherry mx red switches. you're called "linear and silent" they are linear but they aren't

silent. I watched tons of videos of different switches being tested and the reds so so quiet. why do mine sound so loud? i've even seen reviews of the keyboard I have purchased and they were super quite. any ideas to help? I got o-rings to put on the switches too but they just quieted down the down-stroke of the switches, but you hear the keycap clack against the switch stems upon upstroke. I'm really confused on what it could be?

Answer:

If the keys were silent in the review, it could have been one of two things. The first thing being, the microphone just wasn't picking up the audio as good and the second being, you could have just got scammed. Would you mind telling me the model of your keyboard so I can do some research. Cherry mx switches are loud because they bottom out on the keyboard. The actual switch itself is very quite. All linear means is that they keystroke is consistent and smooth rather than a Tactile switch which has a bum in the middle of its' stroke. In advertisement, they will lightly press they switch and that catches your attention when in reality whatever you are doing gaming or typing you will be slamming your keys down with a considerable amount of force. If you want a quiter keyboard I would pick a low profile keyboard which means that they keystroke is not as long as a mechanical keyboard which also means that the noise from the key hitting the keyboard will be a lot less loud.

Hopefully that kinda answers your questions.

Define a method calcPyramidVolume with double data type parameters baseLength, baseWidth, and pyramidHeight, that returns as a d
Rudik [331]

Answer:

import java.io.*;

public class Main {

   public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException {

       double baseLength = 0, baseWidth = 0, pyramidHeight = 0;

       Object[] volume;

       volume = calcPyramidVolume(baseLength, baseWidth, pyramidHeight);

   }

   public static Object[] calcPyramidVolume(double baseLength, double baseWidth, double pyramidHeight) {

       double area = calcBaseArea(baseLength, baseWidth);

       double volume = baseLength * baseWidth * pyramidHeight;

       return new Object[]{volume, area};

   }

   public static double calcBaseArea(double length, double width) {

       return length * width;

   }

}

Explanation:

The problem is flawed because it is completely inefficient for one to create two separate methods to calculate the volume and the area when they can be done at once.

The second problem is that it was never specified whether to return something from the calcBaseArea method.

I assumed it required it, so it is not advisable to initiate the method as a double, but rather create it as an Object so that it can return two values: the volume and the area.

A physical cpu core without hyper-threading enabled can process two instructions at the same time.
diamong [38]

A physical CPU core without hyper-threading enabled can process two instructions at the same time is a false statement.

<h3>Can a CPU do multiple things at once?</h3>

Computers are those that do only one task (or process) at a single time. But a computer can alter tasks very fast and can do a lot of work.

The Central processing unit is known to be the brain of the computer system and without it, the computer cannot function or be turn on.

Hence, A physical CPU core without hyper-threading enabled can process two instructions at the same time is a false statement.

What is the common name for the growth rate function N?
kolezko [41]

Answer:

Linear.

Explanation:

The common name for the growth rate function N is linear.N growth rate is directly proportional to the input.So it grows linearly.It does not grow rapidly like other growth functions like quadratic,exponential and cubical.

Constant growth does not grow over time it stays as it is.

Hence the answer to this question is linear.
