Explanation:

In a diploid organism, one that has two copies of each chromosome, two alleles make up the individual's genotype. ... An example is the gene for blossom color in many species of flower — a single gene controls the color of the petals, but there may be several different versions (or alleles) of the gene.

Why do you think scouts could hear better through the solid ground rather than<br>through the air?
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

Sound travels better through solids than through air.

Explanation:

Think about being in the pool: you can hear a lot of things, albeit muffled a little. Or think about tapping a really long pole, and someone standing far away can hear the vibration or the noise while touching the pole.

Solids are more tightly packed together. Sound needs a medium to travel though, and anything with densely packed atoms is better than loosely packed. The hierarchy is solid > liquid > air. Kinda funny that we do most of our talking through air.

What is the probability?:
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

The probability that this couple will have a child with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is 50/50

Explanation:

This Punnett square shows our woman as "xx" and our man at "xy". Knowing this, we can now look back at the Punnett square's results. Out of the four squares, two of them are fill with the woman's carried condition, but the other two are also filled with the man's. So, that leaves us with a 50 percent chance that their child will have DMD.

Hope this helped!
