\bf \underline {LUDO \: THE \: HORSE}

One day a horse named Ludo was roaring like a tiger instead of neighing. He tried again and again to neigh but he couldn't. He looked here and there to see what was wrong with him. All his friends like Bunny Rabbit, Kittu Rabbit were scared of him. The tiger named Shera was angry with Ludo as he was roaring like a tiger. Next day a fox named Chunnu took Ludo to Doctor Bear. Doctor Bear cured Ludo and after that he neighed and did not roar again.

Moral of the Story – We should always consult a doctor first when we feel something wrong with us.

Which would MOST improve the coherence of an essay?
prohojiy [21]

Answer: D) considering the essay's organization and repeating keywords

Explanation:

 • In writing, coherence is the logical connection between sentences and paragraphs of a particular text. There are devices we can use to connect ideas within a sentence and paragraph. If an essay is coherent, the reader can follow it easily.
 • It it, therefore, important to mind the organization of an essay. Preparing an outline will help to make sense of the main ideas presented. In essay outline, we brainstorm the main ideas and organize them.
 • It is also useful to repeat key words and phrases in the paper, as it will be easier for a reader to understand the main idea and follow the text.

HOPE” IS THE THING WITH FEATHERS - (254)
photoshop1234 [79]

Answer:

Hope is the thing with feathers

That perches in the soul,

And sings the tune without the words,

And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;

And sore must be the storm

That could abash the little bird

That kept so many warm.

I've heard it in the chillest land,

And on the strangest sea;

Yet, never, in extremity,

It asked a crumb of me.

Which lines from The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock best express themes of alienation and Isolation?
Murrr4er [49]

Your question is a bit incomplete since it's missing the options. I've found the complete question online. It is as follows:

Which lines from “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” best express themes of alienation and isolation?

A.And I have known the arms already, known them all—

Arms that are braceleted and white and bare

B.But as if a magic lantern threw the nerves in patterns on a screen:

Would it have been worth while

C.No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be;

Am an attendant lord…

D.I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.

I do not think they will sing to me.

Answer:

The lines that best express themes of alienation and isolation are:

D.I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.

I do not think they will sing to me.

Explanation:

"The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" is a poem by T. S. Elliot. The speaker is Prufrock himself, a man who is unfulfilled both spiritually and carnally. Prufrock is incapable of interacting socially due to his exacerbated insecurity. He believes he will be judged ugly and dull if he ever chooses to leave his home and talk and dine with other people.

Much of his concern involves women, since they seem unattainable to him. He longs for contact, for a relationship, but can only think of them as impossibly distant. Towards the end of the poem, Prufrock mentions the mermaids, mythological beings who live in the ocean and sing to enchant and attract sailors. Even the mermaids do not sing to Prufrock. He feels so inferior, so undesirable, the even the very beings whose purpose in existing is to sing to men do not want to sing to him. They are, obviously, a representative of the speaker's isolation and alienation, of all the women seen by the speaker as desirable but unreachable.
