What is the answer to y=3x-2

Mathematics

It all depends on which exponent your trying to find.
if your trying to find x. then it would go like this; y=mx+b
y= 3x-2
y+2=3x-2+2(what you do to one side, you must do to the other)
2y/3=3x/3
0.66=x

y-exponent.
y=mx+b
y=3x-2
y-3x+y=3x-2-3x+y
3x=-2+y
3x+2=-2+y+2
3x/x+2/x=y
3+2=y
5=y

i hope this helps! im not 100% right this is right. but im almost sure.

No, because Bernie had to run 9 meters 7.77777778 time (70/9) and each of those 9-meter sections took 4 seconds, so her time was 31.1111111 (7.77777778*4). While Wendel had to run 61 meters 70-his headstart (9 meters) (70-9). So he only had to run 30.5 blocks of 2 meters (61/2). And since they're only 1 second long, it's 30.5*1=30.5. The answer then is NO because (Bernie) 31.1111111 seconds > 30.5 seconds (Wendel).

Write the equation in standard form for the circle with center (-5, 3) and radius 10.
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

x² + y² +10x -6y - 69 = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to write the standard equation of circle with , centre (-5,3) and radius 10 unit . The Standard equation of the circle ⭕ is ,

=> ( x - (-5))² + (y -3)² = r²

=> ( x +5)² + (y-3)² = 10²

=> x² + 25 + 10x + y² +9-6y = 100

=> x² + y² +10x -6y + 31 = 100

=> x² + y² +10x -6y - 69 = 0

• Hence the equation of the circle is x² + y² +10x -6y - 69 = 0.
