How did the iran hostage crisis affect american opinion of president carter?
madreJ [45]

The Iran hostage crisis affected negatively the American opinion of President Carter to the point that it probably cost him his second term as President of the United States. On November 4th, 1979, a group of Iranian students stormed the U.S Embassy in Teheran taking more than 60 Americans hostages. This action was a direct result of President Carter's decision of allowing the deposed Shah the possibility of getting medical treatment in the United States.

The students set their hostages free on April of 1981, 444 days after the crisis began and just hours before new elected President Reagan delivered his inaugural address.

*Why was the electoral college system created?
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

In 1804, 12th Amendment to the Constitution made sure that electors designate their votes for president and vice president, but the 12th Amendment leaves in place a tie breaking system established by the Constitution by which the House of Representatives breaks a tie on presidential electoral votes and the Senate breaks a tie on vice presidential electoral votes.

My sister told me this :) but i hope this helps

Gwar [14]
Urban areas developed subways, elevated trains, and streetcar systems because if all commuters rode in cars it would cause traffic jams and major traffic. It made it easier for people to move around in bigger cities.
