It’s d, not b. It’s draws connections to two different things (parallelism) and he repeats together to show that to further push his point

I personally think it’s B. because it’s a balance within one or more sentence with similar phrases that have the same grammatical structure

They sold two ice cream bars to my mother and I.
mote1985 [20]

The first one wouldnt make sense becuase "we" is talking about you and your mother so that one is incorrect. The third would be wrong becuase youre describing yourself, not "she". The last wouldnt make snese whatsoever becuase it would damage the grammar. The only one that would work here would be the second one: I should be changed to me even though i am unsure is this is correct. :)

Fill in each blank with the vocab work in 7 questions.
givi [52]
I see only five questions instead of seven. But it doesn's matter. Also there's no options to fill blanks, so it's quite difficult to complete theese tasks. Anyway, I think I've got the idea. Take a look:
1. Walter Mitty was so uxorious that he couldn't buy puppy biscuits without consulting his wife.
2. Although they were not wealthy, her parents left her a rich patrimony by giving her a fine education.
3. Showing us photographs from her childhood, Grandmother pointed out the distinctive familial resemblance among her cousins.
4. After Uncle Nick died, I realized how much I depended on his avuncular affection.
5. In the movie, the deceitful bigamist maintained a wife, two children, and a dog in two different cities.
I hope you will find it helpful.
