Ok I was broke and needed money for gas but I couldn't get to work so I rode with a buddy to work.
Reporters and news editors deny that they are the most powerful political actors, that is all I know. If this doesn't help. I'm sorry.
Back then, many women fought for equal rights. For example women didn’t have the right to vote. Their goal was to acquire the same rights men had. Also, back then they thought men were superior to women, and women were just so posed to clean, cook, do laundry, and take care of the children.
Being this political cartoon takes an isolationist viewpoint regarding the events leading to World War II, a piece of evidence which would support the cartoon would be the Neutrality Acts of 1935, 1936, and 1937. These acts prevented trade and travel with any aggressive country. These rules are connected to how the US got involved in WWI and therefore was an attempt to prevent that once again.
A challenge to the cartoon would be the Lend-Lease Act which officially allowed the selling of arms on credit to non-aggressive countries. Essentially allowing the US to trade openly with the Allies and most important Great Britain. This act shows the US's hand and reveals who the government wished to side with if we were to enter the war.
From the fact that records were written we know that members of those societies could both read and write, we also know that they deemed it important to leave a record for future generations.
From the contents of those records, we know of events that occurred in that society however we must take care with any records that are based largely on opinion since they are likely to be biased.
