The steps after the spark of curiosity are the steps that historian takes as "facts-finding mission" that eventually answer the "Curiosity".

Compared to other form of method to understand history, historical inquiry tend to be the one that is the closest to scientific approach. It relied on hard evidence/data in order to create a set of sequences that leading up to specific event in the past.
