Answer: A. The spelling bee trophy had a misspelled word on it

Explanation:

Situational irony refers to a scenario where something to expect to happen is instead the opposite of what happens.

In this scenario, the Spelling bee trophy being misspelled is the situational irony. This is because, the Spelling bee is a contest that tests the spelling of others and should therefore ascribe to the highest standards of accuracy when it comes to spelling anything related to it. Instead this expectation is the exact opposite of what happened as the trophy had a misspelled word.

Which details from Chapter 3 of Wheels of Change does the image help the reader better understand? Check all that apply.
Rasek [7]

Answer:

In the 1890s, riding a bicycle in traditional clothing could be hazardous to a woman's health.

This combination of a shortened dress and flowing trousers became known as the Bloomer costume.

<em>"Taken together, these floor-length petticoats and the dress that covered them could weigh 25 pounds—even more when the unfortunate woman got caught in a rainstorm. Plus they were unsanitary. During a casual stroll, an unsuspecting fashion plate could pick up cigar ends, cigarette butts, discarded food, tiny insects, and animal droppings as her clothing swept the ground."</em>

In this excerpt from Wheels of change we can see that the clothing in the times for women were dangerous and started to change because it was easier for them to dress different so they could ride a bike.

Describe what the name Epimetheus means
nexus9112 [7]
Epimetheus was one of the Titans, son of Iapetus and Clymene. He was the brother of Prometheus, Atlas and Menoetius. His name is derived from the Greek word meaning 'afterthought', which is the antonym of his brother's name, Prometheus, meaning 'forethought'. In this context, Epimetheus appeared as a foolish character, while Prometheus was the clever one.
Prometheus and Epimetheus were told to distribute characteristics to the newly created animals. Epimetheus started giving a positive trait to every animal, but lacking foresight, he realised that he had distributed all traits without having any left to give to man. So, Prometheus gave mankind the civilizing arts and fire.
