How do we get 25 to 60?
25x=60
x=60/25
x=12/5
x=2.4
So if 25*2.4= 60
If you multiply 2 inches by the same then you'll get the same amount in inches
Hope this helps!

Breanna thought of a number, added 6 to it, multiplied it by 6, subtracted 6 from her answer, and then divided it by 6. She got
ss7ja [257]

Answer:5

Step-by-step explanation:

If you look at the question in reverse you can backtrack your way through. Take 10 and instead of dividing, multiply it by 10, which is 60, add 6 instead of subtracting, which is 66, divide by 6 instead of multiplying, which is 11 and finally subtract 6 instead of adding, which is 5. Use five and try the question over to make sure you calculated correct.

2. Given that the radius of the Earth is 6340 Km. calculate the Surface Acer of earth <br>
serious [3.7K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The surface area of a sphere (which the earth is considered to be) = 4 pi r^2

pi = 3.14

r = 6340

Area = 4 * 3.14 * 6340 * 6340 = 504856736 square km.

You should either round this to 505,000,000 or express a value in scientific notation.

5.05 * 10^8

The oblique pyramid has a square base with an edge length of 5 cm. The height of the pyramid is 7 cm. What is the volume of the
Mandarinka [93]

Answer:

875 cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we want to calculate the volume of the pyramid.

To do this, we need to calculate the area of the base and then multiply this by the height of the pyramid in question

Mathematically since the base is a square, formula for the base area would be ;

L^2 = 5^2 = 125 cm ^2

Now

using the height to get the volume , we have 125 * 7 = 875 cm^3

Find c.
Alexxx [7]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  14.9 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

To find c using the Law of Sines, you must know angle C. That is found from ...

  C = 180° -A -B = 180° -150° -12° = 18°

Then the law of sines tells you ...

  c/sin(C) = b/sin(B)

  c = b·sin(C)/sin(B) = (10 cm)·sin(18°)/sin(12°)

  c ≈ 14.9 cm

On a line segment, E is between D and F. If DE = 14.1 and EF = 9.4, what is DF?
cestrela7 [59]

Answer:

23.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Point E is in between line D & F.

It is given that line segment DE = 14.1, and line segment EF = 9.4.

Combine the two numbers to get DF:

DF = DE + EF

DF = 14.1 + 9.4

DF = 23.5

23.5 is your answer.
