n in your summary.
"The most important day I remember in all my life is the one on which my teacher, Anne Mansfield Sullivan, came to me. "Helen lost her ability to see and hear when she was an infant. With Anne Sullivan's help, Helen learned to communicate with sign language and to read and write with braille. Helen Keller was awarded honorary degrees from multiple universities. Until her death in 1968, she was admired around the world for her perseverance and strength" ("Helen's Story").

Excerpt from "The Raven"
Mashcka [7]

isnt it

Answer:

C. “But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came rapping, / And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,”

&

C. The rhyme gives the poem an even rhythm and maintains the tension.

Explanation:

1. None of the other options give as much tension as these lines do. The anticipation and reptition of the lines intensify the action of approaching a chamber door.

2. I feel as though the other options don't quite work as well as this one. A rhyme doesnt necessarily make a poem easier to remember, lines that are more 'significant' is just subjective, and each rhyme doesnt necessarily end an idea.

Select the correctly capitalized sentence. Mr. Johnson always takes the day off on flag day, which is celebrated in june. Mr. Jo
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

Mr. Johnson always takes the day off on Flag Day, which is celebrated in June.

Explanation:

Because "Flag Day" is the title of the day, instead of "the flag day" or "a flag day", it makes it a proper noun and thus you would capitalize the entire title of the day. For example, you would write other holidays such as Mother's Day in sentences such as "The family went out to dinner on Mother's Day.", because "Mother's Day" is the title of the day itself.

June is also a proper noun, it being the name of a month, and thus you would also capitalize it.
