<u>Sick-building syndrome is a health hazard during which people who live or spend time in a certain building begin to develop symptoms of the same disease which are connected to the building itself. </u><u>The symptoms are nonspecific usually and can’t be tied to a certain known illness</u>, but can involve fatigue, dizziness, nausea, flu-like symptoms, breathing difficulties.

<u>Some of the reasons may be connected to the way the building is kept and cleaned, some to the way it is built, and some are unable for detection. </u>

Sick building syndrome increase is connected to the fact that more people work and live in a specific building, not changing scenery often, and being indoors for a prolonged period. Usage of the plastic materials, computers, and indoor ventilation that have been on the rise past few decades probably have the influence as well.
