Emily bought some ground beef for the evening meal. When she was invited to go out to eat, she decided to save the ground beef.

She formed hamburger patties, wrapped them loosely in wax paper, and placed them in the refrigerator on the shelf above the vegetable drawer. What mistake(s) did Emily make?

Answer: It seems like Emily did almost everything right. Hamburger patties should be referidgerated/put in the freezer, and wrapping it in wax paper is good too. However, I think placing the patties above the vegetable drawer was her mistake.
