Answer:

The Renaissance Mindset. Renaissance Religion. The Protestant reformation, in the philosophy of Martin Luther, John Calvin, and King Henry VIII further lessened the power of the Catholic Church in Europe. How did Harry Truman's presidency impact the civil rights of African-Americans during the late 1940's and early 1950's?
Aleks04 [339]
<span>C) African-Americans experienced an improved level of civil rights, including the desegregation of the military and the federal government.

In 1948, President Truman signed Executive Orders 9980 and 9981, ending segregation and discrimination in federal government and in the military.

Executive Order 9980 began by saying, "T</span>he principles on which our Government is based require a policy of fair employment throughout the Federal <span>establishment, without discrimination because of race, color, religion, or national origin."</span><span>

Executive Order 9981 stated:  "T</span><span>here shall be equality of treatment and opportunity for all persons in the armed forces without regard to race, color, religion, or national origin." </span>

The North and South each had their own advantages and disadvantages.
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

B.

Explanation:

So for A the North had many more soldiers in a scale of about 2:1 so the first part is incorrect

In C it says the North had "no chance" but if they won isn't that wrong? And the North was bustling at the time so I'm pretty sure their transportation system was superior as well

Finally, in D it states that "The North was determined to preserve its way of life" but the country pretty much had two different sides that formed the Civil War and the last part doesn't really make to much sense since the South was beyond determined to keep their way of life.

Therefore I'm concluding that it is B
