Answer:

11, 16, 21, 26, 31

Step-by-step explanation:

Dakota pattern = 8, 13, 18, 23, 28

The common difference in Dakota patter is 5

8, 8 + 5, 8 + 5 + 5, 8 + 5 + 5 + 5, 8 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5

= 8, 13, 18, 23, 28

Coby uses the same rule as Dakota to make a pattern

He begins his pattern with the number 11.

= 11, 11+5, 11+5+5, 11+5+5+5, 11+5+5+5+5

= 11, 16, 21, 26, 31

Coby's pattern starting from 11 using the same rule as Dakota is 11, 16, 21, 26, 31

Which pairs of points would result in a line with a rate of change of 2:1? select all that apply
Reil [10]

Answer:

A,C,D

Step-by-step explanation:

Complete Question:

<em>"Which pairs of points would result in a line with a rate of change of 2:1? select all that apply"</em>

<em>A.(−4,−11) and (−2−7) </em>

<em>B.(5,6) and (−5, 12) </em>

<em>C.(0,−3)and (−4,−11) </em>

<em>D. (0,−3) and (5, 7)</em>

<em />

Rate of change is the slope. 2:1 would mean a slope of simply, 2.

We need to find slope of each of the choices from A - D and see which one has 2. The formula would be:

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Where m is the slope and

x_1 is first x point

x_2 is second x point

y_1 is first y point

y_2 is second y point

Let's calculate slope of each of the choices.

A.

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\\m=\frac{-7+11}{-2+4}\\m=2

THis one is okay.

B.

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\\m=\frac{12-6}{-5-5}\\m=-\frac{3}{5}

THis one is not 2:1.

C.

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\\m=\frac{-11+3}{-4-0}\\m=2

THis one is okay.

D.

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\\m=\frac{7+3}{5-0}\\m=2

This one is okay.

Hence, A, C, and D all have rate of change of 2:1

#3 the answer is 4.
The reasoning for this is because x=-1 so if it is applied where x is at you have to subtract instead of multiplying in this equation. So 2xsquared is 2-1 which is 1. Same thing for 6x (6-1) which is 5. So the problem would end up being 1-5 which equals 4.

Answer:

Amount = $6614 and 19 cent

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for compound interest is

A= p(1+r/n)^(nt)

Compounded daily

So n= 365*2= 730

T= 2

r= 0.13

P= 5100

A= p(1+r/n)^(nt)

A= 5100(1+0.13/730)^(730*2)

A= 5100(1+1.78082*10^-4)^(1460)

A= 5100(1.000178082)^1460

A= 5100(1.2969)

A= 6614.19

Amount = $6614 and 19 cent
