Solution :

The document provided is the legal mean with the help of which the Government of the United States can forcefully removed the Indians form their own lands. This act is also known as the Indian Removal Act. It forms the basis for the reservation which is present today.

Prior to this act, the Indian nation worked as an autonomous nation and they were given the liberty to remain autonomous if they wanted to move. Most of the tribes were forced to leave their land but were compensated with money. All this led to Trail of Tears.
