Answer:

Each loaf contained  \frac{1}{8}  a cup of whole-wheat ⇒ A

Step-by-step explanation:

∵ Anne made a recipe for miniature bread loaves that called for 7/8

   of a cup of whole-wheat flour

∵ The recipe made 7 equal-sized loaves of bread

→ That means 7/8 of a cup of whole-wheat flour maks 7 equal-sized

   loaves of bread

→ By using the ratio method

→  Cup    :    Loaves

→    \frac{7}{8}        :    7

→    x        :    1

→ By using cross multiplication

∵ x × 7 =  \frac{7}{8} × 1

∴ 7x =  \frac{7}{8}

→ Divide both sides by 7 to find x

∴ x =  \frac{7}{8} ÷ 7

∴ x = \frac{1}{8}

∴ Each loaf contained  \frac{1}{8}  a cup of whole-wheat
