san4es73 [151]

Answer:

1. El público QUERÍA que el grupo TOCARA más canciones

2. Me SORPRENDIÓ que los actores no se APRENDIERAN bien sus papeles

3. No FUE necesario que la exposición ESTUVIERA tanto tiempo en la galería

4. Los lectores nunca se IMAGINARON que la novela TUVIERA un final trágico

5. Yo DESEABA hacer un mejor trabajo que tú en la obra

Explanation:

To be able to answer this exercise we need to be capable of, mainly, two things:

1. Understand the meaning of the sentences in order to adequate conjugate the verbs that need to change their form to make sense.

2. Understand the use of the subordinate link word QUE, which is a word that indicates that there is a subordinate sentence (a sentence who depends on others to have complete meaning).

Thus, we will be practising two aspects at the same time, but, for the same reason, we need to be really focused on the production of these sentences.

Notice that in the answers the conjugated verbs are marked with CAPITAL and bolded letters , while the subordinate link words are marked with italic and bold style words.

ANSWERS:

1. El público QUERÍA que el grupo TOCARA más canciones

2. Me SORPRENDIÓ que los actores no se APRENDIERAN bien sus papeles

3. No FUE necesario que la exposición ESTUVIERA tanto tiempo en la galería

4. Los lectores nunca se IMAGINARON que la novela TUVIERA un final trágico

5. Yo DESEABA hacer un mejor trabajo que tú en la obra.
