- Line - A thin or thick drawing considered a moving point in space, one-dimensional and can vary in width, direction, and length.
- Shape - A two or three dimensional form.
- Space - Feeling of depth or three dimensions. Positive space is filled, and negative space is the blank areas in the piece.
- Value - Light and dark colors depicted as a scale, used to display contrast.
- Form - The overall shape taken by the piece.
- Texture - The perceived surface quality of a work of art, used to create a sense of depth, and can be two dimensional or three dimensional.
- Color - Used to make the piece pop.
